Healing Broken
Relationships in a Broken World
Embrace
Christ and the Cross.
Our hope is in Jesus and what
he accomplished on the cross. Wrapping our lives around this work and knowing
that life is found in him, we have hope, life, and fellowship with our creator,
which compels us to be drawn to him. The love he has for us is contagious and
causes us to want to be like him. – Philippians 3:8-11
Encourage Each Other to Live Like Christ
Because of His love, we will
teach and challenge one another to live lives pleasing to the Father. We will
live lives of love and allow God to use us and the resources He gives us, to
bring justice and new creation to the world. We will gently help those who have
stumbled in their lives to refocus on God. – 1 Peter 3:8-15
Equip
Healers.
Having been equipped by Jesus
Christ, the great physician, we will be able to foster wholeness in others.
Through every member of His community, God brings tranquility into the midst of
trouble, healing into the midst of hurt and transformation from tragedy.
– Ephesians 4:11-13
Extend
God's Grace to the Community.
We will be the bearers of God’s
grace within our community. We mirror, or reflect the grace of God by showing
compassion, forgiveness, and mercy to others. God’s grace is the salve that
heals broken relationships. – Micah 6:8
